Description:
This corner guard is made from solid wood (not laminated) and perfect for painting or staining and is turned in a round profile. The edges in the square section are eased and the corner guard comes with a 90 degree notch cut out of the back side of the dowel for easy installation. This corner guard provides protection for high traffic areas and helps protect against chipping plaster and smudged walls.
Recommended application suggestions: CA Adhesive found in the supplies page on our website, or you could use a two part fast drying epoxy, 60 second dry time is best or another fast drying wood glue would work too. All found at your local hardware stores.
These corner guards worked out perfect to add a Victorian touch to my custom built, medicine cabinet. I cut the 48 inch length into equal 24 inch lengths, and used each to decorate the 2 front corners of my medicine cabinet. It came out absolutely beautiful. John Lynch
